too cute to care
one of the minor dilemmas of parenting is the 'do i correct things the kids say wrong, even though what they say is really cute' phenomenon. Both Soph and Zaccy say 'find' instead of fine "don't worry mama, it will be find". and soph calls her doona her doo-nut. and zaccy calls hairy mclairy hair d'clairy. and i just can't bring myself to correct them. sometimes cute is its own form of accuracy.

Soon enough everyone will be leaping to correct them and bring them into the bland and correct mainstream. I agree, that is just too cute to change just now.

yeah i reckon so too. actually i really hate it when other people correct them, or prompt them to say please or thank you (especially when these kids ahve better manners than most people i know. if we were as ruthless with adults as we are with kids the world would either be a very very very polite place or no one would ever speak at all....)
